Taste Hearty Red Blends This Weekend

Greetings Valued Wine Customers,

This week we’ll taste hearty red blends (and one white!) that are perfect for hearty fall weather. Blends have been an integral part of the wine business for centuries, and they are increasingly popular among consumers. They also give winemakers latitude in pursuing their art. Blends can soften or add backbone to a particular grape varietal, fleshing out the resulting wine and often taking it to a higher level.  Our lineup will include:

Vina Robles White 2009 – $14.99

Concannon Crimson & Clover 2009 – $9.99

Relative Red by Joel Gott 2009 – $12.99

Borsao Berola 2008 – $14.99

Hahn Meritage 2008 – $14.99

Estancia Meritage 2007 – $19.99 (was $29.99)

The cost of the tasting is only $5 per person with a selection of complimentary cheese & crackers. This week we will also offer a premium pour ($5 for 2 oz.):

Papillon by Orin Swift 2008 – $57.99
