Taste Wines from The Pacific Northwest This Weekend

This week we’ll taste wines from some boutique producers in the Pacific Northwest, one of the newest and most exciting wine regions in the United States. In the last 20 years, wine production in Oregon and Washington has exploded, with Oregon developing a reputation for Pinot Noir and, increasingly, Pinot Gris, and Washington becoming known for Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and others. Our lineup will include:

Duck Pond Chardonnay 2008 – $12.99

Duck Pond Gewurztraminer 2009 – $10.99

Duck Pond Red Blend 2008 – $16.99

Desert Wind Merlot 2008 – $17.99

Duck Pond Syrah 2009 – $13.99

Duck Pond Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 – $13.99

The cost of the tasting is only $5 per person with a selection of complimentary cheese & crackers. This week we will also offer a premium pour ($3 for 2 oz.):

Desert Wind Ruah (Bordeaux-style red blend) 2008 – $24.99
